Chihaya 千早 Chihaya
千早一丁目から千早四丁目 - From the first to the fourth district

. Toshima 豊島区 Toshima ward, "Rich Island" .

It used to be part of 長崎村 Nagasaki village.
It became part of Tokyo in 1871, when it was given back from 埼玉県 Saitama prefecture.
In 1932, it became part of Toshima ward.

Chihaya Flower Park (千早フラワー公園, Chihaya Furawaa Kōen)
is a public park in Toshima Ward, Tokyo, Japan.
It is open throughout the year. The park is the eighth largest in Toshima Ward.

Chihaya Flower Park has various pieces of play equipment for children including swings and a slide.
A prototype vehicle (12-000 series) of the Toei Ōedo Line (a subway)
is located in the north side of the park.
